And I'm not really that literate in terms of sound engineering or theory. The tone still sounds sharp when I try to do chords with distortion like how Periphery did it. But the clarity of the high strings, are still kinda messy and not 'solid'. Turns out.I'm still off (the guitar is great btw and a huge upgrade for me), I got the tone for low strings kinda right. To an extent that I bought Mark Holcomb's SVN as an excuse and assumption that, that will be how I'll get the perfect tone. I've tried as best as I could to get it right. I was wondering how to get that Periphery guitar tone especially on the high strings when making big chords.
